Elastizell Corporation of America

To add a team layout to this page, visit the Team folder in the section library. There are seven designed options available:


  1. Basic Team Layouts (4 options) – Display a photo, name, title, and (if needed) a call-to-action such as email or phone number. Do not include bios in these layouts.
  2. Team Layouts with Bios (2 options) – Display a photo, name, title, and a short bio. You may also include a call-to-action (email, phone, or social icons). If no image is provided, the layout can still be used without one.
  3. Standalone Profile (1 option) – A full page dedicated to a single team member (e.g., doctor, lawyer) with one long bio.


Choose the design that best fits the client’s content.

Mark Creps

President

Mark Creps began his career with Elastizell in March 1990, working part-time at the research lab after school. This part-time employment continued throughout high school and college. In 1998, he earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering physics from Eastern Michigan University.


After a short stint away from Elastizell, Mark returned in 2001 to work in the office, focusing on customer support and technical assistance. In 2018, Mark was named president of Elastizell Corporation of America. His memberships include ACI, NRDCA, NRCA, RCI, and FRDA. Mark serves as co-chair of the Technical Committee for NRDCA and FRDA.


In his spare time, he enjoys playing hockey, spending time with family, and heading to the woods as often as possible.


Trevor Towery

Vice President

Trevor Towery started working for Elastizell in 1997 part-time during high school. After high school, Trevor left to attend an automotive technician trade school and subsequently worked as a mechanic at several dealerships. In 2006, he returned to Elastizell and has worked in various capacities over the years. While working at Elastizell, Trevor earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Michigan.


Trevor continues the Elastizell value of participation in industry associations. He is a member of ASTM, ASCE, Geo-Institute, and ACI. He currently is serving as ACI 523 committee secretary. Trevor joins together his practical hands-on experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics with the technical knowledge to provide support services to everyone from designers to equipment operators.


Trevor was appointed vice president of Elastizell Corporation of America in 2018. When away from work he enjoys time with his family, church, various sports, and pub trivia.

Ned Glysson

Director of Research and Operations (Retired)

Ned Glysson started working for Elastizell with Leo Legatski and his father, Professor Legatski, back in the summer of 1972 while in high school. He went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry. He kept in contact with the Legatskis and assisted them with odd projects.


In 1980, he joined the Elastizell team full-time as the director of research and operations. During his 48 eight years of experience in the cellular concrete industry, he has been hands-on in the application, testing, manufacturing, development, research, and distribution of all facets of the industry. That has included chairing the American Concrete Institute committees 523 (Cellular Concrete) and 229 (Controlled Low Strength Material), serving as the technical chair for the National Roof Deck Contractors Association, and as a member of the Florida Roof Deck Association.


Ned retired in 2020.


Leo A. Legatski in Memoriam (1943-2017)

Former President and Owner

Leo A. Legatski, former president and owner of Elastizell, passed in July 2017. Raised in Ann Arbor, Leo graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 1966, a master's in civil engineering in 1967, and an MBA in business administration in 1968.


Leo served as president of Elastizell from 1971 until his passing in 2017, during which time he grew the cellular concrete market in lightweight flooring, commercial roof decks, and geotechnical fills. Leo served in various associations, including ACI, NRDCA, RCI, and FRDA. He was also a member of NRCA, ASCE, and many other industry associations.


Leo enjoyed spending time with Kathy, his wife of 19 years, gardening, traveling, skiing, tennis, and dancing. He greatly appreciated and supported the arts, especially the University of Michigan Musical Society and the Ann Arbor Summer Festival.


His guidance and knowledge are greatly missed.
